Hi! I'm Lisa Kilpatrick
I'm a certified personal trainer and Desire Map and Fire Starter Sessions facilitator located in Draper, Utah.
Growing up and going to school abroad, I was never really exposed to physical fitness programs. It wasn't until I enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 2002 that I started to become much more active.
I remember it like it was yesterday. Twenty-year-old me, who’d barely ever run before, running laps around a track in basic training in the dark. It was so early that the sun hadn't come up yet and I couldn’t help but wonder what the hell I was doing there and if I was even going to pass my physical training test. But I did.
The past 15 years haven't been easy and fitness hasn't always been one of my top priorities, but I've still come a long way. I've completed multiple half marathons; road and trail relay races; adventure races; obstacle course races; and even founded, coached, and played in a flat track roller derby league. Life's dished out some doozies but every single time I picked myself up and started over again because, at the end of the day, I like the way being fit makes me feel.
If you've made it this far, you're probably wondering how any of this benefits you. Bear with me. I'm challenging you to stop thinking about making changes in your life to start doing something. I know what it's like to start from the beginning and to get derailed by life over and over. I know how hard it can be to make fitness and life 'stick' and I definitely know how hard it is to put the pizza down (most of the time).
My love of teaching and my passion to inspire others is what put me on this path. The words on this screen simply cannot express how excited I am to help you achieve your goals, whatever they may be.
